McDevitt with a dob of 4-5-1867. Her parents were John McDevitt and Susan (Doyle). According to the info on the death cert, both parent(s) and daughter were from Ireland. She lived and died in Philadelphia. Does any of this sound familiar? ** I have been searching for my gf's family (McDevitt) and found that I have a relative whose birth name was Blanck and her mother's name was McDevitt. What is interesting is that her death cert. lists Samuel Blanck as her father. They lived in Philadelphia and she was married to John Deal. Her name was Mary E. Deal born 5-21-1888. What is even more interesting is that I have the death cert of Catherine Blanck born 4-5-1867. Her parents are listed as McDevitt. She passed away in 1938and is buried in my gf's family plot. At the time of her death she was livingat 2637 Gerrit St. in Phila. and in the 1920 census was listed as the mother-in-law to John Deal living with his wife Mary E. Deal.
