Ann E. Gayewski, 90, of West Enterprise Street, Glen Lyon, a former resident of the Nanticoke Villa,Nanticoke and Hampton House Nursing Home/Rehabilitation Center, Hanover Township, died Monday in Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
She was born Nov. 26, 1912,in Monessen, the daughter of the late John and Anna Danko Krupa, and was a 1930 graduate of Monessen High School.
Mrs. Gayewski resided in Glen Lyon most ofher life and was employed by the Leslie Fay Dress Company, Glen Lyon, as a dewing machine operator, prior to her retirement in 1960.
She was a former memberof St. Michael's Church, Glen Lyon and was a member of the Christian Mother's Society, where she held the office of secretary and treasurer.
Her husband of 45 years, Stanley P., died on June 2, 1997; son, Stanley J., died on Nov. 7, 2000; brothers, John and Joseph also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the Corpus Christi Parish Church, Market Street, Glen Lyon at 9:45 on Saturday for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10. Rev. Michael Guinnan officiating.
Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Glen Lyon.
There will be no calling hours.
