- The children of Nicholas are listed here are purely speculative and just for testing purposes!!
Oley burial record says Nicholas Schmidt died Jul 17, 1790, aged 76-7-6
(->born c1714) a son of Sebastian Schmidt and wf Christina. I suspect the age is
off! I'm saying he was abt 56. 11 Dec 1713 (note, an adjacent death also has
age at death as 76).
1752 tax list, Oley (see internet) (is this the same Nicholas later in Colebrookdale?)
1754 tax list, Oley Twp, single, $9 (this would imply a young Nicholas).
1767 tax list, Colebrookdale, 91A, 1H, 2C, 2S, $2 (laborer)
1768 tax list, Colebrookdale, 50A, 1H, 1C, $2
1779 tax list, Colebrookdale, 50A, 1H, 1C, $135

1781 tax list, Colebrookdale, 90A, 2H, 2C, $1.3.11
1784 tax list, Colebrookdale, 90A, 2H, 2C, 11 people
1790 census (it seems mostof Colebrookdale is missing in the 1790 census!)
1810 census, Colebrookdale, pg 750, 00000-00101 (Eve, widow)
PAA 5:5, pg 150, Berks Militia, Cpt Lesher, 27 Aug 1776, Pvt Nicholas Smith

(note Melchior Endlich was at Oley Reformed in 1772, sp Michael Buch,
1773, sp Anna Maria Wertz) (also Entlich, Indlich, etc)
Executors of will are Nicholas Imboty (married A. Marg Linn) and JohnKlotz
buried at Oley Hill:
