near Heidelburg, Baden, Germany. He emigrated to America with his parents
in 1719/1720.
By 1735 Hans Martin was a land owner in Lancaster Co. His property extended
from Mechanicsburg to Bearville in Upper Leacock Twp.
Hans Martin was naturalized on 16 May 1769 in Lancaster Co., PA.
Hans Martin wrote his will on 22 August 1788, probated 6 July 1789 (Lancaster
Co. will book F, pp. 134-138) He is buried in Salem (Hellers) Reformed Church
cemetery.
