Jacob lived near Laury's Station in Whitehall Twp.,Northampton Co. (now Lehigh
Co.), PA. He is said to have served in the militia in theFrench and Indian
War.

1. Deed book F1, p. 6: Jacob of Lehigh gave land to son John dated 12 January
1768 (Deed poll is in German, index and names beside German deed are in
English)
2. Deed book F1, p. 165: Jacob of Whitehall to Henry dated 5 May 1759 (Deed in
German)
3. Deed book F1, p. 5: Jacob of Whitehall, farmer, to son Henry, yeoman, same
place dated 8 August 1772. Land Jacob received by warrants dated May 1743, 29
August 1753, 26 September 1753. (These warrants are also listed in PA Archives
under Land Warrants, the first one under Bucks Co., the other two for
Northampton Co.)
Northampton Co. estate file #1148:
Jacob Heffelfinger died intestate. The administrators of his estate were sons
Henry and John Heffelfinger, who signed a bond of administration on 31 January
1786. The sureties were Abraham Lebensberger and Dewalt Schafer.

Petition of Michael Fabeyon of Springfield Twp., Bucks Co., 22 March 1786,
husband of Gertrude Heffelfinger, one of the daughters of Jacob Heffelfinger,
who died sone time ago, leaving eight children; Henry the eldest son,
Catharine, married to William Sylvius, Elisabeth widow of Jacob Fried (had 10
children), Esther married to Andrew Moyer, Barbara married to Conrad Sylvius,
Mary married to Casper Fabeyon, John, and Gertrude wife of petitioner.
