  from Bulletin of Historical Society of Montgomery County, Vol 30, No 3, Fall 1996: Owen Evans Records (servants) pg 233, 28 Nov 1748, Nicholas Howerter unto Jacob Lonacre to serve him 8 yrs and 11 months, and said Jacob to pay untohis mother Ann Howerter or her exers sum of 20 shillings every year (9 poundsduring his life) and master to pay his servant 6 pounds when free, 2 sote of apparel and a new hoe ax mall and wedges. (possibly the Longacre family of Chester County?)
