Notes - He was a Captain in the Revolutionary War, 1st. Lancaster County Batallion
PAMilitia, under Colonel Ross whose company went to New Jersey in

He was a warden, elder and trustee ofthe Trinity Lutheran Church.
His home, possibly still standing, was on the corner of Prince and Orange Streets
(48-60 N. Prince St.). He was sheriff of Lancaster County and member of the Union
