- Michael, as were his brothers George and John Adam, was a tanner. He lived in the house which today is 323 West King Street, and is well preserved. In his will he
directed that it be sold.
Will mentions: wf Mary Mosser, children William, John, Mary w/o Michael Barnitz,
and Catharine w/o Samuel White. Exec Samuel White.
In 1776 he served as 2hd. Lieutenant in a Company of Lancaster County Militia.
