  1850 census, Easton, pg 148 On 24 November 1815, Melchior Mixsell, son of Michael Mixsell of Chestnuthill, yeoman, deceased, a minor above the age of 14,petitioned orphans court for a guardian. The court assigned Philip Lessig of Chestnuthill. (Northampton Co. orphans court book 9, p. 2) Melchior and hiswife, Margaret, are buried in Easton Cemetery (plot C-127).
