Jacob Clay, one of the oldest residents of Richland township died early Monday morning aged 86 years, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. David Hoffman. He is survived by Mrs. Hoffman, the daughter and the following sons: Jacob, of Richland; Charles, of Springfield; William, of Bingen; John, of Bethlehem, and Amandus, of Quakertown. Interment will be made in the Richlandtown cemetery, Rev. D. H. Reiter officiating.
