Seeing the span of children,this seems right on the mark, to me. Having a child at age 48 is possible, but I think two wives makes more sense than not. I've taken the liberty to arbitrarily pick the gap bef 1750 as the mark between the two wives... in Rev Blumer records: died, Elisabeth Catharine Hartman, mother/Jacob Hartman, age 75 years 8 Oct 1783 Is there a chance that John's first wife was still around? Perhaps Jacob was older and she was living with him?
