  doesn't appear to be in 1830 census when the Conrad's were called out with their parent's names, suggesting he left the area. (note that Peter gave him the farm he was living on in 1837 - where was it?) 1840 census, Augusta, 1110001-1110 001 1850 census, Lower Augusta Twp, 133, John 53, Sarah 41, William 21, Eliza 14, Daniel 13, Samuel 9, Solomon 17, Sarah 7, Isaac 4 Note: several people show John as being born in 1802 and a son of Jacob Jr. I believe he belongs here and that the age in the 1850 census is correct. The John, s/o Jacob Jr went west with his brother Christian.
