  • Notes
    • Also, I was looking at your list of surnames and saw the name
Knisely. I am not descended from the Knisely family, but I am from a
related family -- I believe. Barbara Knisely (daughter of Samuel
Knisely of Juniata Co.) married David Holman 5 July 1853. David was
the son of Conrad Holman who resided in Spring Twp, Perry County and was
married 3 times. I am suspect that my grandfather Adam Holman (born 26
Jun 1786 in Coventry Twp, Chester Co., PA) is also a son of Conrad. I
realize this is a long shot, but do you have any information on this
family that would prove or disprove my suspicions? I would appreciate
      any help. Denton Loving.

The actual biography is really about their son, Dr. W. H. J. Holman
