Delaware WWI draft registrations:
Henderson, John James 23 Nov 1890, White, Philadelphia PA
Wilmington DE# 2
- order marriage record
got it, no new info (except exact dateof marriage)
- find a place (library) with obits
- order birth certificate
search of 1889, 1890, 1891 - not found in Philadelphia search #959779
Note that middle name was listed as James in WWI draft registration
(and middle initial J in 1910 census) but used middle name of Newton
later (see son John F's obituary). Supposedly at birth it was John
Newton like his father, but thenuns changed to a better name of John James.
