I do know that I have a document dated 18 Sept. 1823, signed with her "x" markin
which Catharina (as spelled) KNERR stating at this time Isaac KNERR was
deceased and as his widow she desired that "my brother, John SHAFFER, and
John EISENHARD, be the Administrators of the said estate." Also I have a document in
which John EISENHARD, John SHAFFER, Jacob SMITH, & John KNERR,
all of Northumberland County posted bond. (on genforum)
