  • Notes
    • George was the second son of Adam Fox Jr. and Elizabeth Derrick He was a farmer and owned land in the Fair Garden area of Sevier County. NGT Fox in his 1924 Fox history reported 9 children. However, the 1830-1850 censuses indicate that there were as many as 13. Three other daughters (Mahalamar, Catherine and Margaret) have since been identified. The 1830 and 1840, censuses, also indicated an unidentified son. There is just room to fit one child in between Catherine and Eli.
