He brought his family to America on the ship "Robert and Alice", arriving in Philadelphia on 24 September 1742. He died on 12 January 1754 and is buried at the Lehigh Lutheran Church in Alburtis, Pa. Unfortunately we know nothing else about him or his family, except for his son.
