Irene M. Knerr, 92, of Pitman, died Thursday evening at Tremont Health and
Rehabilitation Center.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
A religious service for Irene M. Knerr, 92, of Pitman, who died Thursday evening
at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont, will be heldat 11 a.m.
Monday at Hepler's Church of God, Pitman, with the Rev. Andrew Weaver
officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery, Pitman.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in UpperMahantongo Township, Aug. 1, 1910, she was the daughter
of the late George and Della Heim Harring.
She was a member of Hepler's Church of God, and a former member of
the Mahantongo Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart P., in 1977;
three brothers, Leroy, Harry and Frank Harring; three sisters, Lottie Morgan,
Gertie Haas and Olive Knorr.
Surviving are a son, Ronald, Frederick, Md.; two daughters, Joyce Buffington,
Valley View, and D. Lorraine Hepler, Pitman; a brother, Willard Harring,
Valley View; a sister, Pauline Snyder, Pitman; six grandchildren;
11 great-grandchildren.Children:
