Jacob lived near Laury's Station in Whitehall Twp.,Northampton Co. (now Lehigh
Co.), PA. He is said to have served in the militia in theFrench and Indian
War.

Jacob Heffelfinger died intestate. The administrators of his estate were sons
Henry and John Heffelfinger, who signed a bond of administration on 31 January
1786. The sureties were Abraham Lebensberger and Dewalt Schafer.
