1734 tax list, Germantown, Baltser Trout $25 (andalso George)

Will of Jeremias Traut and John Bathazer Traut, Germantown, 26May 1747/8,
    21 Jun 1750, J.275.
(how can a will be for two people?)

will supposedly mentioned land held jointly with his brother Jeremiah.
mentions "our beloved sons and cousins Jacob, Balthazer and Jeremias Trout"

(someone says this is the three sons of John Balthazar Trout)
It would appear that his wife had died by then.

Exec: Jacob Traut and John Frederick Ox (Ochs), John Shinfeld
Wit. Mathias Adams and John Roberts

Since he doesn't appoint a son tobe executor, I'm thinking his kids are
probably not old enough. I have that he was married about 1725, but
    could he have been older?

see also will of Jacob Busset, 1741/1741, mentions
Mary Elizabeth, Jacob, John and Eva.
Exec. son in law John Balzer Troutt and Henry Frederick (Philadelphia County)

in Germantown, c1740 were Balzer, George and Jeremias

    in Germantown in April 1760were

    Notes:

May 1714 - “John Henry TRAUT, two sons, one daughter, and son-in-law” area
listed among the Brethren living in Marienborn. Source: Donald F. Durnbaugh,
European Origins of the Brethren (Brethren Press, Elgin, IL 1958), pp. 183-184.

Could the children be Balthasar and Jeremiah? It would seem that the daughter
is old enough to be married, but the sons are too young to be listed by name. The
sons then could be Balthasar and Jeremiah, but he couldn't be the
    father of George then.

...Immigrants from the original church in Schwardzenau arrived in Philadelphia
in the Fall of 1729. Upon arrival, one such individual wrote, "John Henry
Traut from Germantown, another of the Brethren, hauled our things a
distance of four hours to this place without taking pay."

In many ways, it seems John Henry is an elder to the communittee and possibly
older than Jeremiah and Baltzer. I'm assuming for now he was the father.

***** a Henry Trout at Ephrata that "never married"

one source said Henrich was a hermit, then married a widow (Sophia?)

    ***** at Berks, after 1733

note - a John Henrich Traut married Anna Maria Baum, 11/24/1738 at the
Monakesen (Monocacy Creek in Oley, Berks?)
(that would seem to be Henry, s/o J Martin, immig 1733)
    (J Debalt, J Martin, John (16), J Henrich (16))
(probably moved on right after this) (Debalt in Lancaster 1737)

    ***** at Ephrata, after 1733

and atEphrata, a Henry that "temporarily renounced celibacy and married,
but later returned to his celibacy"

    Notes:

the organization of this family is purely speculative and arranged for my convenience
in research. I'm guessing that the Trauts that stayed in Germantown proper were the
children of Baltzer Trout Sr. The others seem to fit here under George. I'm not convinced that Jeremiah had any kids.

    spelling: Traut, Trout, Draut, Drout
    misspelling: Kraut?
