Also, Hartman (notes), 929.2 Part 2 (also mentions 'extra' Hartmans)

As proposed in the Sauerwein book, it appears that Johannes was married twice
and perhaps only mentionsthe daughter of his first marriage in the will. Seeing the
span of children, this seems right on the mark, to me. Having a child at age
48 is possible, but I think two wives makes more sense than not. I've taken the liberty
to arbitrarily pick the gap bef 1750 as the mark between the two wives...

    in Rev Blumer records:
died, Elisabeth Catharine Hartman, mother/Jacob Hartman, age 75 years
    8 Oct 1783

Is there a chance that John's first wife was still around? Perhaps Jacob was
older and she was living with him?

Johannes married Maria Eva BREINIG Bef 1750, Maxatawny Twp, Berks Co, PA. Maria (daughter of Father BREINIG) was born Abt 1730, Germany; died Aft 1783, Lowhill Twp, Lehigh Co, PA. [Group Sheet]

    who is this?
Maria Eva Hartman and Peter Hoffman married 22Apr 1794 (widow Eva?)
(Rev Helfrich records) maybe the widow remarried?
