In 1733, Christian is mentioned as a son-in-law in the papers of the estate of Anthony
Kneissley of Lancaster County. An old family bible record cited in the published
Kauffman-Coffman Genealogy states that "Anna Kneissele Kauffman fell asleep
in the Lord, Jun 24, 1758, aged 70years". Her isster, Christianna Holdiman, died
