    Since my first posting about the Heckmann/Edelmann immigration to Philadelphia, I have learned that my Edelmann ancestors came in
    1754 on the ship "Mary & Sarah". There are several marriages ofEdelmann/Heckmann ancestors and I found the "Genealogical Society
    of Old Tryon Co, Inc, (North Carolina), November, 1999 Bulletin to be of great value. Theyhave transcribed the old German records
    from Rothenberg Evagelical Church forthe family of Sebastian Heckmann, Johannes Edelmann, Hans Peter Bartmann and Hans Barthel
    Edelmann. The Heckmann family was quite prolific in Rothenberg andthese other families include several Heckmann marriages. The
    bulletin is $4.50 from:
